The year 2020 brought uncertainty, fear and anxiety to a lot of sectors of the economy and Education has not been spared.

Educators all over the globe have to grapple with the new normal of wearing masks, keeping a distance from one another and constantly washing hands. In schools where resources have always been in scarcity the issue of sharing books proved to be a Covid-19 health hazard.

In this light Macmillan Education resolved to donate resource books, readers, textbooks and library books to a number of schools. The schools that received books were Maisantwa Primary School, Molapowabojang Primary School, and Manase Association on behalf of Thuli area primary schools. The books were handed over by our CEO Ms Felicity Leburu-Sianga. The recipients all expressed earnest appreciation to the support offered by Macmillan.
